As Giovanni Testori recalled:
“By dint of not making mistakes, the heritage of a man, a city, a country is washed away. Instead, we have the duty to love and, I might add, also to make mistakes. Because if you do something, you cannot help but make mistakes. All art is a mistake: of grace, of love, of pity.”
