Inauguration of the works by Alessandro Pongan and Francesco Garbelli
Balossa Park – 15 September 2018
On the occasion of the 12th Biodiversity Festival, two new artworks enriched Balossa Park: Prono by Alessandro Pongan and Idrante Ionico by Francesco Garbelli.
The works, winners of the biennial Arte in Balossa competition, curated by Casa Testori and promoted by Parco Nord Milano, were inaugurated on Saturday, 15 September 2018.
The day also featured two group bike rides to the park, departing respectively from Cormano and Novate Milanese; a series of readings curated by the Civic Children’s Library of Cormano and traditional courtyard games organized by the association ProgettoQualeGioco; an afternoon snack offered by ProLoco Cormano; and donkey-back walks with the cooperative A Passo d’Asino.
Alessandro Pongan’s artwork later became part of two international art circuits focused on sculpture:
