Atelier dell’Errore, HERE WE ENTER IN SILENCE, EVERYTHING ALREADY SPEAKS SO MUCH
The Atelier dell’Errore is a visual arts laboratory designed by Luca Santiago Mora for Child Neuropsychiatry. A therapy? Yes, but above all it is a hothouse of young talent that creates works of art, large drawings of animals, but not only. Called to work on a space as dense and tense as the Edolo Prisons, Santiago Mora’s voice had no doubts: «Here we enter in silence, everything already speaks so much, and everything that is said is written. Doors, handles, dust, walls, everything that is normal is different here. It feels like speaking softly, like in church». A place where you can only put a video, an insect trying to free itself, and, in the opposite room, another small animal, little more than a black dot. Metaphors, certainly. Like that ladder found on site, already perfect under that lunette to evoke a desired and possible escape.
