Emma Ciceri, ALMERINO VOLA
She imagined it, then found it. Emma Ciceri has had the perseverance to search for her vision in reality, until she has seen it come to fruition. A man surrounded by pigeons, who becomes their pedestal, in an almost symbiotic way, with no solution of continuity between human and animal. Almerino Vola is the result of this research, the story of a man who has lived for years with a flock of birds to which he devotes time and attention and which has redesigned his living space and his existence. The narration is not entrusted to the editing of documentary material, but to Almerino’s gestures, which the artist follows respectfully, as if not wanting to see the illusion of the transformation of an imaginary into reality vanish.
