Elyron, THE NUMBERS OF THE TWO MILAN

Bonvesin is a master of the rhetorical technique of enumeration, which he demonstrates by describing the numbers of the city and its inhabitants.
The comparison between the city of 1288 and that of 2015 is difficult, because many professional categories are no longer there, others have changed, but Elyron has guided us in this dialogue from a distance, seven hundred years later. Roberto Necco’s (Elyron) research was not limited to the conception of an image, but consisted of an all-round project. The installation required the involvement of the visitor, who was asked to rummage through the drawers of the room to discover what was hidden inside.
