MANZONERIE

On Tuesday, July 19, in collaboration with Moto Teatro Oscar, the garden of Casa Testori hosted Manzonerie: an evening in which Roberto Trifirò read an anthology of Giovanni Testori’s writings dedicated to Alessandro Manzoni.

Trifirò is no stranger to Testori’s language — in 2019, he took on the role of Edipus at Teatro Out Off — and once again, he brought to life the writer’s passionate and intimate dialogue with one of his greatest literary forebears.

The evening also offered visitors the opportunity to enjoy the summer exhibition “Luca & Mauro. Il gioco dell’Arte”, featuring works by Luca Bertasso and Mauro Maffezzoni.

In addition, those visiting the house that day found a special surprise: an installation by Martina Cioffi in Massimo Kaufmann’s Winter Garden Room — a delicate flowerbed of clay blossoms that had sprung up in the heart of the space.
