Dario Goldaniga, STAR MAPS
Dario Goldaniga’s Star Maps aimed to provide the observer with a new sense of orientation. They established a point of reference that the artist drew on the surface of recycled slate slabs, blackboards no longer used, replaced by new technological instruments and abandoned in the maze of schools, containers of knowledge made up of writing and erasing, of continuous superimpositions and redefinitions of meanings. Goldaniga has traced on the delebile par excellence signs that cannot be eliminated, since they are engraved on stone. They are indelible constellations, a compass for the gaze of those who observe his work.
